Get to Know Me
Who I Am
My name is Nicholas Cooper and I have Autism (Asperger's Syndrome). Autistic people all have a specific calling, something that they excel at, an unrivaled passion, mine is animals.
I've always loved animals since I was a little kid and wanted a job working with them.
Being a vet was my initial dream, mostly because I like the idea of helping animals get better, but I wasn't able to follow this path.
How I came to start my own dog walking business
In early 2021, I decided I would improve the state of my health. I started with weight lifting at home before realising that a daily walk out in nature would provide additional benefits.

At first, I went out after dark as I am quite shy. However, when I changed to afternoon walks, I began to interact with dogs and their owners.

Many of the owners I met remarked that I had a natural affinity with their pets. It was then that I was offered the opportunity to walk someone's dog on a regular basis each week.
Why I Became A Dog Walker
This was when I realised that setting up my own dog walking business would be a great way to improve my health both physically and mentally, whilst also helping me to become more confident.

Time spent with pets can lift a person’s mood, but sometimes you might need a bit of a break from your furry friends.

That is where I can help, whether you are recovering from an injury or needing some peace and quiet for that all important meeting, I can be called upon to take your fur-baby out for some exercise or just keep them quiet and out of mischief in another room of the house.
